Understanding the Landscape
Participants will have a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental aspects of the fund management industry, such as licensing requirements, principals of fund management, and introduction to product guidelines for aspiring fund managers.
Module 1: Understanding unit trust regulators and its regulations, the types of unit trust schemes and its structures.
Module 2: Understanding the basic features of a unit trust scheme (eg risks, fees and charges, unit pricing, and how is unit trust performance measured).
Module 3: Understanding the licensing requirements and key requirements for unit trust management companies and trustees.
Module 4: Understanding the distribution lifecycle of a unit trust scheme and its code of conduct.
